I would like to express gratitude to Al and Petsearchers team for support and help in finding our 10 months old border collie Chase.
From the moment Chase got lost on My. Seymour Resort on Saturday May 15, 2021 at 9AM, to 60 hrs later when he walked out from behind Tobogganing building on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 7:30PM, Al was with us every step of the way.
Al provided sound advice on how to search for Chase, took time to listen to us and guide us. We were able to follow advice which directly contributed to finding Chase! From advice how to set up search to educating us on how dogs react when lost to practical advice we could use in our specific situation.
Al’s guidance to wait with open door of our car is exactly how we got Chase back. He was seen several times over 2.5 days and would always run away from people. At the end our patience worked out and Chase found our parked car and entered to safety.
We are so grateful to Al and Petsearchers. We would not be able to find Chase without Al’s help. Even after we found Chase Al provided guidance on how to take care of Chase, what trackers are good to use and how to use them.
Chase is now resting, drinking tons of water and repeating process!

I recently had the dreadful experience of losing a dog in a dog park adjacent to a conservancy area. Huge space. Very rough terrain. A nightmare. Contacted Al at Petsearchers and he was so responsive. He and his team were on the road as soon as possible, even though it was already late in the evening. Then, they worked with us for three days using different methods to try to find the dog. And it worked! I would not hesitate to recommend Al, and–though I sure hope I never need his services again!!–I’d hire him again in a second.

Al and his team from Petsearchers Canada have exceptional knowledge around animal behavior and the tracking skills necessary to return any pet to their home. We lost our dog and started out frantically searching for her, covering miles of terrain. We were lucky enough to have several people searching for her. On the first day of our search, someone told us about PetSearchers Canada. Not knowing it at the time the decision we made to call Al and his team at Petsearchers Canada no doubt was the deciding factor as to whether our Girl would be returned safely to us. Al immediately started the process of finding our Girl! The hardest part in this process was to take Al’s lead at the time and “sit back and “wait for the traps to do their work!” It took two long nights with her being gone for Al to draw her out and safely trap her. Our nurturing instincts were not what she needed to be found! But without Petsearcher’s experience, tracking, and trapping ability we likely would have never seen her again! Thanks to Al and his team our girl was safely returned to us! We will forever be greatful to PetSearchers. I was walking my indoor black cat Bonni, in a pet stroller with a harness and leash attached to the stroller at night on Wed, May 19th. Something spooked him and he jumped out with so much force that the break-away harness came off. I searched for him the entire night, and sent an email to PetSearchers Canada that same night. Parker responded the next morning and came out that afternoon to setup the traps in the vicinity of where Bonni went missing.
Parker provided prompt and professional service and understood that this was a very time sensitive matter. Him and his bloodhound was able to narrow our search the next day and moved the traps accordingly. He provided us with a lot of search guidance and cat behavior knowledge. We were successful at finding Bonni on the morning of Tue, May 25th.
Reaching out to PetSearchers Canada saved me and my family a lot of stress and heartache. We would not have been able to find Bonni, who’s an all-black cat, skittish of people and in a neighbourhood with lots of foliage and hiding spots.

Its a shame I can only rate five out five stars for this company! My 3 year old indoor tabby Hazel went missing on Oct 8. I spoke Al on Oct 9 and his team were on it instantly! Amazing customer service, patient and understanding, quick to respond! Last Sunday, our newly arrived rescue dog Shawby escaped from her harness and we were unable to bring her back home, despite only being within the apartment complex. Recently Al was hired by us in Texas after one of our fosters was lost within 10 min after arriving to Canada. I felt so helpless until Al began working to find her. Jordii helped to bring our escaped indoor cat home! It was reassuring and comforting to have somebody on our side that was knowledgeable and able to offer advice as we needed it without having to sift through the large amounts of conflicting information on the internet. Jordii from Petsearchers Canada helped me find my cat Bella and I thank her so much for it! Jordii came in with the bloodhound dog to track down Bella’s scent and sent me a map of where Bella’s scent was located. Then the camera was installed near the entrance of my apartment to see if Bella shows up. After 2 days, Bella was seen on camera and I ran down to pick her up! At first, I was reluctant to hire PetSearchers but it was totally worth it! I was impressed by their level of professionalism and the depth of tech + detective expertise they offered. Ultimately, it was the motion sensing camera that located my lost pet. Their valuable tips kept me hopeful and were instrumental in getting my cat back. I am grateful that the humane trap was left in my backyard for one extra night. It was meant to be taken down by Tuesday but luckily it was not taken down until Wednesday which is when my cat returned! There is no guarantee with a missing pet, and although the hound was unable to localize my cat with the initial search, it is all because of Jordii’s dedication and hard work that I was able to get my lost cat back. I would highly recommend PetSearchers!

I lost my small skittish dog for 3 days during the rain. People recommended Al. He worked 100% in my favour and if not for him this would not have been successful. His help in blasting out eye-catching posters, social media, support and psychological knowledge was so valuable and something that I couldn’t do as well on my own. That was the key to the success. His hound could not trace because of the hard rains and the patterns of my dog, but who cares. His entire package is to help me get there very quickly. I lost count at 800 social media shares and it was social media that got me that vital call. People need to know who to call. This man really cares, has tons of experience and I couldn’t have done it without him.

I was impressed by their professionalism and knowledge. With them we could try every possible technique, getting success with one of them using motion sensing cameras. Their excellent advice kept us from making key mistakes in capturing the cat, and their valuable suggestions were instrumental in getting him back. There is no guarantee with a missing pet of course, and in our case the hound was unable to localize our cat, but this turned out to be money well spent for us overall and greatly accelerated how fast we got our lost indoor cat back – possibly making the difference in that way to getting him back at all.

On December 2, 2018, I suffered an epileptic seizure while walking my dog, Littlefoot, and he ran away. Two days later, and with few leads, we called Al to help us out. Littlefoot ended up all the way in Richmond from our home in East Van and Al tracked him down. Al worked insane hours- and I mean insane. He said he would take a day off on Christmas. To our surprise, he spent Christmas Eve and the wee hours of Christmas looking for Littlefoot. We neither wanted nor expected this, but he wanted to find our dog that badly. He devoted hours to this; hours that I would not have expected nor asked him to put in.
I sincerely hope you will never need this service. But if you do, I am confident Al will bring your dog home. If you are ever in this unfortunate position, you can feel confident Al will spend day and night doing everything to get your dog back.

We are so happy to have our cat Hunter home with us safe and sound thanks to Al and Petsearchers Canada! We lost our beloved Hunter two nights ago, so we called Petsearchers Canada the next day and Al came out that night to set up a trap for him. Unfortunately, Hunter was not lured to the trap/food, but the next day Al and his team came with a bloodhound who tracked his scent and found him not far from home. The professional quality of work their team put together was very reassuring. It gave us hope that we would find him which helped keep us positive that he would be found. We are so thankful to Al and Petsearchers Canada, Hunter is part of our family and we could not bare to live without him.
